WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump endorsed Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County Executive, for governor of New York ahead of the November election.

Trump said Blakeman has stood with him from the start of his movement and pledged his full support for the campaign. Blakeman works with federal immigration and border agencies in his county role, according to ice.gov and cbp.gov. The endorsement aims to shape the next contest for New York state leadership, according to ny.gov.
