Donald Trump attacked Fox News host Shannon Bream on Truth Social, calling her program “beyond redemption” and worse than CNN.

Trump accused the Fox News Sunday anchor of choosing hostile guests, negative charts and polls while ignoring what he described as his administration’s achievements. He said MAGA voters, whom he described as close to 100% of the Republican Party, would watch her ratings fall. The president framed the criticism as part of a wider grievance with a network long seen as his most reliable media ally.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Watching FoxNews with Shannon Bream is always like watching the Worst of Fake News CNN. I don’t know Shannon, but she always seems to pick guests, charts, and “polls” that are negative, never talking about all of the incredible things that the Trump Administration has done, like Total Border Control, the Most Successful Stock Market in History (81 Record Days in a year and a half!),Biggest Investment in our Country in History (19.2 Trillion Dollars!), breaking the Record by many times over, the Great Military Victories over Venezuela and the essential Denuclearization of Iran— The rest to follow! —The Lowest Crime Rate in Recorded History, the Lowest Murder Rate since 1900 — 125 years! — The Highest Number of People that have Jobs in the United States, EVER, the fact that the United States is more RESPECTED throughout the World than at any time in Memory, the Biggest Drop in Drug Prices, over 500%, than has ever been seen before, which will lead to tremendous SAVINGS in Healthcare Triangle, Inc., the Rebuilding of our Military, in my First Term, making it the Strongest in U.S. History, with the inclusion of Space Force, and so many other things! Yet, week after week, I see Shannon “interviewing” hostile guests, and having losers like Juan Williams, who got fired like a dog from PBS, was thrown off of The Five for somebody even dumber than him, Jessica Tarlov, and when he saw me walking into the Headquarters of Fox, he went CRAZY, begging me for a picture — “Could I have a picture with you? It would be such a Great Honor!” In any event, Shannon’s “show” is beyond redemption. Fortunately,MAGA, which is close to 100% of the Republican Party, understands that, and watch her “Ratings” start to fall. Chris Wallace was bad, but Shannon is even worse! Oh well, it couldn’t have had too much of an impact, because I’m now heading back into the Oval Office to continue working on more TRIUMPHS and SUCCESSES for our Country! Trump” on August 16, 2026 at 4:10 PM ET.

This is Trump’s ninth message released today, and the last post came six hours earlier, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The move fits a broader pattern in Trump’s recent messaging, with 3 of his 535 posts over the last 30 days classified as media bias posts.

The criticism targets a network Trump has both praised and rebuked. Trump singled out Bream in an earlier truthsocial post, accusing her of failing to challenge Democratic representatives on her “not very hard hitting show,” according to newsweek. He also urged Fox executives to remove Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov from the air, calling her “a real loser” whom viewers “cannot stand watching,” according to newsweek.

The latest attack extends a pattern of public frustration with a network once widely seen as Trump’s most reliable media ally. That frustration deepened after Fox’s early projection that Joe Biden would win Arizona in the 2020 election, according to newsweek. Trump has continued to appear on and praise the network while criticizing individual hosts and its pollsters.

Bream is not the only Fox figure Trump has singled out. Trump previously blasted the Fox News Sunday host in a social media statement while defending his immigration enforcement record against comparisons to former President Barack Obama, according to hindustantimes. During an appearance on The Five, Trump said, “I hate Fox polls,” and criticized the network’s pollster, according to hindustantimes.

Fox News and the two hosts have not responded publicly to Trump’s earlier comments, according to newsweek. A date for any response from the network or from Bream has not been announced.

Trump’s clashes with Fox hosts have surfaced repeatedly. He targeted Tarlov in April, calling her one of “the Least Attractive and Talented People on all of Television,” according to hindustantimes. In 2023, he accused the strategist of presenting “knowingly wrong” information hours after she criticized him on air, according to newsweek. Tarlov answered on X after an earlier attack, writing that “my numbers are far from fake — Trump really is that unpopular,” according to hindustantimes.
