WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump said Ed Martin, the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia and director of the Weaponization Working Group, is leaving the Justice Department to work on election-related legal battles.

Trump said Martin is now leaving to fight legal battles focused on the midterm election and the 2028 presidential contest.
