Trump credits Mark Levin for laying out his affordability agenda

WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump praised Fox News host Mark Levin on Truth Social for framing his deregulation and energy agenda as a drive to make life more affordable for Americans.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Mark Levin just laid it out clearly. Trump is cutting and reviewing regulations to restore American energy independence, put more money in people’s paychecks, and make homeownership attainable again — while still looking out for the environment and American workers. Blue-state governors are sabotaging that progress every chance they get. Democrats claim “he’s not focused on affordability.” He’s all about affordability. They’re just furious he’s delivering it. Stop listening to the liberal media and your blue-state governors. Do your own research. The Democrats have been the reason we can’t have nice things.” on August 24, 2026 at 1:23 AM ET.

Mark Levin is a syndicated talk show host and the host of “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Fox News, according to foxnews. Trump named Levin, the Fox News host, to his Homeland Security Advisory Council in April 2025, according to jns. The council, the president said, would work on new policies and strategies to secure the border, deport criminals and stop the flow of fentanyl and other illegal drugs, according to jns.
