James Burrows was an American television director who, for many years, stood behind the scenes of American television, entertaining audiences and shaping modern sitcoms. Through his noble work, he received many honors, including 11 Primetime Emmy Awards and five Directors Guild of America Awards.
Unfortunately, the entertainment industry woke up to heartbreaking news that the legendary television director and producer had died. His family confirmed the death in a statement, saying he died peacefully surrounded by his family. James Burrows‘ passing has left a significant gap in the entertainment industry, ending a career that played a key role in shaping popular sitcoms such as Cheers and Frasier.
His contributions have inspired a great number of actors, writers, and directors and brought joy to millions of people across the globe.
