Trump touts DC cleanup with 2,300 lights fixed, 162 encampments removed

Donald Trump posted a graphic on Truth Social tallying cleanup, repair and safety work across Washington, from fixed lights to removed homeless encampments.

The graphic lists 2,300 lights fixed, 1,460 benches rehabbed or installed, and more than 500 instances of graffiti cleaned. It also counts 162 homeless encampments removed, 250-plus tons of pothole repair material applied, 83 statues, monuments and memorials cleaned, and 22 fountains fixed. The graphic carries National Park Service and America250 branding and shows the Caesar Rodney Statue, the Reflecting Pool, DuPont Circle and the Art of War Statue.
