GROTON, CONNECTICUT — General Dynamics Electric Boat Corp.has secured a $255 million Navy contract modification for submarine support work, records show on July 9, 2026.

Work will be performed in Groton, Connecticut (70%); Kings Bay, Georgia (13%); Bangor, Washington (10%); Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (3%); North Kingston, Rhode Island (2%); and Newport, Rhode Island (2%), and is expected to be completed by December 2026. Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance (Navy) funds in the amount of $34.9 million (98%); and fiscal 2026 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $735,625 (2%), were obligated at time of award and funds in the amount of $34.9 million will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.”
