WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump endorsed Republican Joe Strada, the businessman who won the GOP nomination for Florida’s 11th Congressional District, in the race to fill an open seat in Central Florida.

The recount held Strada’s slim 393-vote lead over Baker in Orange, Lake and Sumter counties, according to wesh. His authorized committee raised $5.2 million in total receipts from April 1, 2026, to July 29, 2026, including a $5 million loan made by the candidate, according to fec.gov.
