Donald Trump endorsed Republican Ryan Elijah, a former news anchor running to represent Florida’s 7th Congressional District, in a post on Truth Social. Trump called Elijah an “America First Patriot” and cast his Democratic opponent,Bale Dalton, as a “Radical Left Democrat” ahead of the November general election.

A Highly Respected Former News Anchor, Ryan knows the Wisdom and Courage required to confront the Corrupt Fake News, which seeks to divide and destroy our Great Country. His opponent,Bale Dalton, is a Radical Left Democrat who is opposed to NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY and, if he and the Dumocrats ever got in, all of these things will be terminated. Ryan Elijah, an Emmy Award-winning former news anchor, will face Democrat Bale Dalton in the November general election for Florida’s 7th Congressional District seat according to fox35orlania. Elijah, a former Fox 35 “Good Day Orlando” host, won 47.1% of the vote to incumbent Cory Mills’ 34.3% in the August 18 Republican primary according to Yahoo Inc.. He has lived in Florida for 20 years and is focusing his campaign on lowering living costs, supporting law enforcement, and expanding tax benefits for healthcare according to fox35orlando.

Bale Dalton, a retired Navy captain and former NASA chief of staff, is running as a Democrat in the district according to fox35orlando. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Dalton served in the Navy and Navy Reserve for 23 years, including 13 years on active duty with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and the Pacific according to votevets. He served as NASA chief of staff from January 2024 to January 2025, where his campaign says he managed 16,500 employees according to legistorm. Dalton is campaigning on lowering household expenses, expanding Affordable Care Act protections, and restricting Wall Street investment in single-family housing according to fox35orlando.
