Kongsberg wins $50.3 million Navy deal for missile launcher modules

The Norwegian defense supplier exercised an option under a previously awarded contract to build launcher missile modules for the over-the-horizon weapons system, with work spread across seven countries through 2031.

Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace won a $50.3 million Navy contract modification for launcher missile modules on July 2, 2026.

Work will be performed in Kongsberg, Norway (56%); Toulouse, France (13%); T’Harde, Netherlands (8%); Schrobenhousen, Germany (7%); Raufoss, Norway (1%); Arendal, Norway (1%); Northridge, California (1%); Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (1%); Chandler, Arizona (1%); Camberley, United Kingdom (1%); and various locations all less than 1% (10%), and is expected to be completed by May 2031. Fiscal 2025 procurement (USMC) funds in the amount of $50.3 million were obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
