MUSCATINE, IOWA — The HON Co. LLC, the largest operating company of North America’s second-largest office furniture maker, won a Navy contract worth nearly $25 million to outfit three California weapons installations, as announced on war.gov.

The firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award totals $25 million and covers commercial office furniture, furnishings, and related design and installation services, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. Fiscal 2026 Navy procurement funds of $27,007 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The work splits across three Navy sites in California. China Lake carries 80% of the effort, Point Mugu holds 19%, and Port Hueneme accounts for 1%. The Navy expects the project to finish in July 2031.
