Trump Rips Fox News Reporter Jonathan Hunt Over Iran Coverage
Trump calls a Fox News report on Iran inaccurate, claims Tehran is begging for a deal and says Bret Baier should straighten out his flunkies.
WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump attacked Fox News correspondent Jonathan Hunt over what he called an inaccurate report on Iran, insisting Tehran is the party seeking a deal.
Trump directed his ire at the network’s chief political anchor, saying Bret Baier should straighten out his flunkies. He claimed Iran is begging to negotiate and that he has no interest in meeting.
“I don’t want to meet, they do,” Trump wrote, framing the dispute as one over media coverage rather than the substance of any talks. The remark added the media criticism to his running commentary on foreign policy.
