Federal Contracting Inc.won a $54.8 million Army contract to build B-21 alert apron shelters in South Dakota.

Here is the full contract notice (see war.gov): “Federal Contracting Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, was awarded a $54.8 million firm-fixed-price contract for design-bid-build construction of B-21 West Alert Apron environmental protection shelters. Bids were solicited via the internet with three received. Work will be performed in Ellsworth, South Dakota, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 16, 2028. Fiscal 2026 military construction, defense-wide funds in the amount of $54.8 million were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Nebraska, is the contracting activity (W9128F-26-C-A043).”
