WASHINGTON D.C. — Donald Trump endorsed Zach Lahn, the Republican nominee for governor of Iowa, giving what he called his complete and total endorsement in the race to lead the state.

Lahn is the Republican nominee for governor of Iowa and won the party’s primary on June 2, 2026, according to iowapbs. A farmer and businessman, he bought his grandparents’ farm near Belle Plaine, founded a private school in Kansas, and moved back to Iowa in 2023, according to iowapbs.
Trump had endorsed his primary opponent, Randy Feenstra, a congressman, whom Lahn defeated with 38% of the vote to Feenstra’s 37.2%, according to The Guardian. Lahn will face Democratic State Auditor Rob Sand in the November general election, according to theguardian.
