Donald Trump endorsed a post crediting him with remaking the Republican Party into what one commentator called the working-class and middle-class party. The post, carried on his Truth Social account, quoted political adviser Stephen Miller praising the president’s electoral impact.

Here is the full post on truthsocial: “Subscribe Stephen Miller Just Gave An On-Air Masterclass on Why The GOP is “The Party of Trump” ”Nobody has done more to rebuild and save the Republican Party than Trump since Abraham Lincoln himself“ ”President Trump inherited a broken shell, a hollowed out husk of a political party after the Bush years, after the Ryan years, after the sellout years, and he turned it into the working class party, the middle class party.“ ”He pulverized that blue wall. How many Senate races have we seen? Where President Trump won a state by 8 points, 9 points, 10 points, 11 points, and it was just enough to bring along the Republican senator by half a point or a point to build that Senate Republican majority?“ Well said @StephenM” on August 19, 2026 at 9:54 PM ET.

This is Trump’s 12th message released today, and the last post was 5 minutes ago, and it is not part of a thread. On average, Trump produces 18 posts per day since his inauguration on January 20, 2025. The post originated with Benny Johnson, a conservative commentator and podcaster who serves as chief creative officer of Turning Point USA, according to politifact. Johnson has written for conservative and right-leaning outlets including Breitbart News, TheBlaze, National Review and The Daily Caller, according to timesofindia.indiatimes. He began his career at Glenn Beck’s The Blaze in 2011 before moving to BuzzFeed News, which fired him in 2014 after uncovering 41 instances of plagiarism, according to timesofindia.indiatimes.

Stephen Miller, a political adviser to Trump, features throughout the post praising the president’s role in reshaping the party. The remarks attribute to Miller a series of claims about Senate races and the president’s margins in individual states. The image shared with the post does not show when or where Miller made the statements, only that Johnson attributed them to him.
