Here is the full post (see war.gov): “Raytheon Technologies, Raytheon Missiles and Defense, Tucson, Arizonia, is awarded a not-to-exceed $102 million undefinitized cost-plus-fixed-fee order (N0001926F0259) against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N0001925G0009). This order provides non-recurring engineering for the Capsule Launch System MK 45 production line restart, to include obsolescence mitigation; design, development, fabrication, integration, inspection, and testing; technical data package updates; integration of the updated MK 45 Capsule Launch System; and redesign of the Eject Initiation Subsystems. This effort will support the delivery of a limited production quantity of updated MK 45 Capsule Launch Systems for the Navy. Work will be performed in Tucson, Arizonia (98%); and Camden, Arkansas (2%), and is expected to be completed in July 2030. Fiscal 2024 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $13.8 million; fiscal 2025 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $14.9 million; and fiscal 2026 weapons procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $22,227,000, will be obligated at the time of award. The contract was not competed. Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.”
